Honky Tonk Angels is a raucous and entertaining juke box musical about three women who step onto a bus. Destination: Nashville, Tennessee. They've left their troubles behind for one thing: A Dream, in pursuit of their passion for singing Country Music. With ambition, sweet harmonies, and newly discovered friendship, Nashville's fresh voices will travel an unexpected paradise road. Chock full of hits, the crowd pleasing revue includes: "Coal Miner's Daughter," "9 to 5," "Fancy," "Stand by Your Man," "Ode to Billy Joe," and of course, "Honky Tonk Angels." The performance is February 21, at 7 pm in the Enterprise High School Performing Arts Center.

The Association is one of the most popular and successful bands to come out of the 1960's and will perform at Elba High School on January 12, at 7 pm. The band has sold over 80 million records, tapes, CDs and DVDs and earned 6 gold and 2 platinum records. Some of their Number One hits are: "Never My Love," "Windy,""Cherish,""Along Comes Mary" and "Six Man Band." Other hits include "Everything That Touches You,""A Time for Livin'," and "Requiem for the Masses." The band formed in 1965 with six members. The band was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for the best original music in the film, "Goodbye Columbus" and won the Foreign Press Award for the same film. The band's hits showcase the versatility, carefully crafted vocals and intricately woven instrumentation that is the signature of The Association, a cornerstone of American pop music. The eclectic mixture of the quartet members represents four continents inspiring programs that celebrate the group's diverse international heritage. Jameson Cooper from the UK and Jacob Murphy from the USA play violin. Sin-Yan Darren Li from China plays cello and Luis Vargas from Venezuela plays viola. The group combines new and challenging works with established materpieces to create varied and exciting programs - from Piazzolla and Hindson to Beethoven and Bartok. The quartet has won many prizes at major competitions around the world.
Euclid Quartet "American"
One of the oldest juried arts and crafts shows in the area, it features original art and crafts, a children's fun center, food and entertainment. Special events include a Civil War Living Display and the Weevil City Cruisers Car and Truck Show (Saturday only).
